Getting to and from Sun Valley

Sun Valley is easily accessible from the gateway sites of Boise, Idaho; Seattle, Washington; and Salt Lake City, Utah. These cities are served by most major airlines and are met by Sun Valley's two connecting carriers: Horizon Air and SkyWest. Check out flight schedules click here.
BY GROUND
From Boise: Go east on I-84 towards Mountain Home. Then take the US-20 exit towards Fairfield. Continue to follow US-20. Turn left onto ID-75 towards Ketchum. Turn right onto Sun Valley Road. One Sun Valley Road, Sun Valley, ID 83353.
Accomodations
There are discounted conference rates available for your hotel stay at the Sun Valley Inn or Lodge starting at $105.00 per night, and up depending upon rooms. Getting Around Sun Valley
Sun Valley is a complete walking village, where automobiles are unnecessary. Condominium units are located within easy walking distance of the Sun Valley Village, but complimentary bus service is also available.
The Sun Valley Resort also offers continuous round-trip service from the Village to both Dollar Mountain and Bald Mountain. In addition, the Ketchum Area Rapid Transit (KART) system provides free transportation throughout the Wood River Valley, including continuous round trips from the Village to both Dollar Mountain and Bald Mountain.
Rental Cars
For those who may wish to strike their own path, rental cars are available in the gateway cities, as well as in Sun Valley. Cars from Avis, Hertz and Budget may be picked up and dropped off at Friedman Memorial Airport. Those rented from U-Save, Thrifty and Practical can be picked up and dropped off at the resort. All other agencies book for round trip only.
Baby Sitting
Sun Valley Inn and Lodge provide onsite babysitting in your room. You must contact the hotel in advance to ensure that you are scheduled a babysitter. Call the concierge number at 1-208-622-4111 for pricing and let them know you need to reserve a babysitter in your room.
They will send a licensed childcare provider at the time you specify day or night. There are also other daytime options such as the Playschool or Day Camp, and there is additional information on the web at www.sunvalley.com under Resort Recreation, then click on Children's Activities and Daycare.
Swimming and Fitness
Sun Valley Resort provides its guests with free, unlimited use of three swimming pools, a Jacuzzi, and two Fitness Centers. Both hotels, the Sun Valley Lodge and the Sun Valley Inn, feature glass-enclosed hot pools adjacent to their Fitness Centers. All facilities require adult supervision for children under 13. Lifeguards are not on duty at the Lodge or Inn pools.
